Okay I took the Imitrex the evening of Day 5 to get rid of the migraines and while they did, they also caused me to have some other problems: severe abdominal pain and headaches that wouldn't quit. I had those nasty headaches the last time I tried it (even mentioned that to my primary care doc at my last visit with her). I'm not pleased about the side effects of the Imitrex.
So you give me a drug to get rid of my migraines which causes nasty headaches that won't go away with medications and abdominal pain to boot?????
Does this sound like fun to anybody???

I used to take the nasal spray and it SUCKED! Ugh, I can remember that stuff draining down the back of my throat and getting sick from it. Now I take 100mg Imitrex pill along with 600 mg Naproxen Sodium (sometimes just 2 Aleve does it) and it is my miracle drug. Not sure if you've ever tried that. I know what you're going through!
I can't take the Aleve since I physically shake on the stuff. The manufacturer of Imitrex has a new pill with Aleve already in it (saw a commercial recently on TV) but I have forgotten the name. Thanks for the info though.
